Description

Gender Equity Diversity Investments (GEDI Foundation) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit accelerating women-led, tech-enabled ventures at the intersection of climate and human resilience. We focus on frontier and emerging markets, particularly across the MENA region, where climate-driven displacement is reshaping lives and livelihoods. Women are often among the most affected, but they are also critical to building effective, scalable solutions. GEDI brings together an all-female investment team and a global network of more than 270 investors, technologists, founders, and industry leaders to support ambitious female entrepreneurs developing locally rooted, high-potential businesses.

We are seeking a talented volunteer Graphic Designer to help strengthen the visual presentation of GEDI across our website, annual report, slide decks, and related materials. This is a flexible, project-based role focused on improving layout, visual storytelling, and brand consistency so that our mission, investment approach, and network are communicated clearly and credibly.

Please note: This role focuses on design and content presentation only. No coding or web development is required.

Main Duties

Key Responsibilities

  • Refine the visual layout and design of the GEDI website, annual report, and presentation decks
  • Create simple graphics and visual elements to support key messages and data
  • Improve the clarity, consistency, and presentation of existing website and communications content
  • Help strengthen GEDI’s overall visual identity across digital and print-facing materials

What will the volunteering role offer the student and what will they learn while they are with you?

As a Volunteer Graphic Designer with GEDI Foundation, you will:

  • Contribute to a mission-driven organisation advancing gender equity, climate resilience, and women-led innovation across emerging markets
  • Strengthen your portfolio with high-impact, real-world deliverables, including a website refresh, annual report, and investor-facing presentation materials
  • Gain exposure to a global network of investors, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders working at the intersection of climate and finance
  • Develop your skills in visual storytelling, brand consistency, and designing clear, compelling communications for complex topics
  • Work flexibly and remotely, with the ability to manage your time alongside other commitments
  • Enhance your professional profile through experience with a purpose-driven investment organisation
  • Build relationships and future opportunities, including potential referrals or paid collaborations based on performance
  • Exercise creative ownership, contributing directly to the evolution of GEDI’s visual identity and communications
