AI Innovation Lab – Event Assistant

IJAD Dance Company is recruiting two volunteer event assistants for our Innovation Lab Day, Human AI: Artistic Intelligence at Riverside Studios Hammersmith on Friday 26 June.

Innovation Lab brings together artists, venues, funders, and technologists in the sector who want to join the conversation about AI, XR, and the future of the performing arts. It is a series of workshops and responsive panels built around one question: who is at risk in this sector right now, and how do we build the infrastructure before those risks become embedded? It is not a conference — every person in the room is a participant, thinking and designing together across seven sessions. We move from AI and intellectual property in the morning through to ecosystem design in the afternoon. The programme includes contributions from the Audience Agency, Immersive Arts, WAAG Futurelab, and others working across the intersection of culture, technology, and public engagement. We are especially interested in how artists, technologists, and institutions can build shared frameworks for responsibility, experimentation, and public engagement at a moment when AI is rapidly reshaping cultural production.

Travel and lunch expenses will be reimbursed up to £25.

Main Duties

• Support participant experience throughout the day
• Distribute materials and resources
• Assist with hospitality and room coordination
• Support conversations and documentation where needed
• Get involved in the conversation!
