Activate Learning have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Media, Graphics and Photography Technician to join our well-established team based at our Farnham campus in Surrey.
You will be responsible for providing technical support for the Media, Graphics and Photography facilities which include, ensuring the teachers and our learners fully equipped in preparation for their lessons, making sure the environment is clean, safe and well stocked in-line with Health and Safety requirements. In addition, you will be required to support the teacher in the delivery of all teaching programmes and be present during the lessons to offer additional support learners if required.
This post is part time (22 hours per week), term time only role and is a fixed term contract to cover maternity.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
Successful candidates will have level 4 qualification in one of the following subjects, Media, Photography, Graphics, Art and 3D Architecture and along with vocational experience in one of these areas.
You will have knowledge of Health and Safety standards, along with good attention to detail, strong communication skills, and IT literate. In addition, you will need to have a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You will demonstrate the ability to engage and develop students and role model the attributes that we develop within our learners.
