The Teach China Graduate Program combines the development of practical teaching and personal development skills with pre-departure training and ongoing pastoral support.
Teaching English at a school in China, you will directly impact the lives of your students while honing presentation and leadership skills - all while earning a great salary, and with an apartment provided. Pre-departure, all participants are invited to join our London Training Day, as well as a series of online training. On arrival, structured orientation and training is provided. You’ll also be able to join our mentoring scheme.
There will also be the opportunity to join Opportunity China’s ‘Graduate Progression Path’, following your year in China, offering Graduate Program alumni access to training with local UK Education Institutions to achieve formal teaching qualifications or access to, and application support for, top graduate corporate recruiters in the UK.

Skills and Experience
Working in China requires resilience and an adaptive mindset. You’ll need to have excellent communication skills, good ideas, determination and some humour! We ask that you have a global outlook, and are able to combine a strong work ethic and self-discipline with warmth and empathy.
You do not need to speak Mandarin, and applications are welcome from final year students and graduates from any subject area.
