Laser cut works

Main Duties

LaserCut WORKS is a creative fabrication lab based in the heart of Bermondsey. Now in its 7th year we have enjoyed continual growth. We pride ourselves on our interpersonal relationships with client and are known to always go the extra mile to get the job done. Working with an array of clients through the Fashion, Architectural, Theatrical, Film and Product industries as well as many more. Our clients are household names and many items that pass through our workshop see themselves in retail outlets film sets and Art Galleries the world over.

Our core business involves developing integrated campaigns for an enviable client roster within commercial and residential property development. We are now expanding further into the hotel and luxury goods sectors.

Main duties:

  • Operating Laser Cutters and CNC routers to produce work to the clients specification.
  • Discussing projects between the workshop team and clients to come up with the best solutions and approaches.
  • Organising the workflow and keeping the workshop tidy.
  • Painting, sanding and providing a high finish to projects when needed.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous relevant creative work in similar role is crucial.
  • Experience of delivering projects within deadlines.
  • Great people skills and ability to build relationships easily with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills to manage several simultaneous projects.
  • Excellent written, verbal & numerical skills.
  • Computer skills within the CAD area are essential. At least a basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
