Main Duties

We are looking for a tutor to teach choir and ensemble singing from September 2021. The candidate must have experience working with vocal ensembles and be able to facilitate a variety of approaches e.g. unison and harmony singing to cater for mixed ability and adult learners.

The candidate should also have teaching experience with mixed ability groups and be prepared to develop public performance opportunities for learners.

You will be prepared to support learners who have a variety of different expectations from the course including developing vocal confidence, performing with others and supporting wellbeing in a positive, engaging environment.

Ideally, the candidate will be able to accompany vocal performance on the piano or create suitable musical backing tracks for the ensemble.
