Culture Buff Games is delighted to offer a part-time virtual Multi-Media Designer position as part of the government’s Kickstart Scheme. Culture Buff Games (www.culturebuffgames.com) is an EdTech innovator in game-based culture learning. Designed by interculturalists, our interactive games leverage visual storytelling and gamification to teach people about different cultures.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR KICKSTART SCHEME JOB

Be between 16-24 years in the UK. Must currently be on out of work and claiming Universal Credit

Responsibilities

Create compelling content for video, animation and graphic design for Edtech games company.

Conceptualise, produce and edit static images, short video and animation in line with our brand and marketing strategy.

Create content across a variety of areas including social media and blogs.

Ability to clearly present design ideas and concepts for a variety of projects.

Remote Work – work virtually from anywhere in the UK for 25 hours or 3 days a week for 6 months.

Skills and Experience

Graduate diploma or degree in Animation, Graphic Design, Digital Design, Digital Media & Games Design.

Proficient in Adobe Software: Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Premier Pro.

A portfolio of digital design work to showcase experience and creativity.

Previous entry-level industry experience in graphic design preferred.

Open to graphic designers & animators with a portfolio who are self-taught but lack extensive qualifications.

Self-motivated, willing to work independently and muck in.

Interest in experiencing a bootstrapping EdTech start-up and learning about different cultures.
