Main Duties

Do you have experience of providing administrative support to a team? Do you have good ICT skills and a proactive approach to learning new processes?

At the Science Museum Group STEM engagement is at the heart of what we do. We inform, inspire and encourage learning on-site, as well as through outreach and online. We are now recruiting for a Learning Coordinator join and support the Learning Team at the National Railway Museum in York on a 21 hours per week basis.

As Learning Coordinator, you will provide a full range of administrative support for the Learning team at the museum. You will support with administrating our events and programmes including creating rotas, minute taking, diary management, record keeping and financial management.

You will also work with colleagues to advocate for the use of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system through creating programme packages, processing bookings and trialling new opportunities to understand our visitors better. As a result, you will possess good ICT skills with experience using Microsoft Excel and CRM systems to input data and extract reports.

Skills and Experience

This role will involve working collaboratively with various internal colleagues and external stakeholders, therefore you will possess the ability to communicate effectively and confidently, in addition to using your strong interpersonal skills to build productive working relationships.

Joining us you will have a proactive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to working as a key member of the Learning team. You will be able to use your initiative and organised approach to prioritise tasks and manage a busy office/administrative workload.
