Main Duties
The duties shall include the normal teaching duties for which the post is engaged and from time to time tasks related to teaching and other activities including but not limited to marketing, administration of the art and design academy in Hong Kong, etc. Posts are for candidates interested in working in Hong Kong.
The foundation of the Chamberlain Institute was established with the help from the Chamberlain Group whereby a unit of Chamberlain Group is the recruitment of the University of the Arts London here in Hong Kong.
The purpose of establishing Chamberlain Institute is to cultivate the students who would like to learn more western-style in creative thinking in art and design.
Skills and Experience Required
Art & Design Teacher (Full time) i. must have a BA degree (or above) from UK in art and design related subject. ii. have the ability to teach some of the art and design areas listed below at University or further education level, but not expected to be an expert in all areas. Drawing and color, graphic design (2D), interior design, fashion and textiles, three dimensional design (3D), cultural and historical studies. Background check applies.
