Shed Fest – Eccleston Yards September 2019
We are running our inaugural Shed Fest this year in the wonderful Eccleston Yards in London SW1 in September. Commencing on 14th September to tie in with London Design Week, the first week will see the sheds host a design led market with constantly changing retailers and makers as well as hosted classes in pottery, drawing, painting and other arts.
Following on from that the sheds will host a dining experience for two weeks in which customers move from shed to shed for different courses of dinner and drinks.
We will be supplying 10 eight foot by eight foot summer houses. These will be decorated by individual artists and arranged in two lines of five facing each other to create a small street. Internal lighting and power will be supplied.
At the end of the event, the sheds may be sold off for charity or may be retained for the same event next year with further new sheds being added.
A budget of £300 per shed is available for labour and materials.
Skills and Experience
No experience required - just an idea and a willingness to execute it.
We are looking for ideas for the decoration of the sheds both internally and externally. All mediums and themes will be considered but of course anything created will need to be relatively weather proof. It should be borne in mind that the area is always open to children and families.
