Main Duties

British artist Amelia Cross requires a videographer & editor to film and produce an “In My Studio” style-video for social media. The video tone should be relaxed and candid (think Art Drunk, Louisiana Channel, Art21) with a mix of interview and “show and tell” clips to introduce the audience to Cross’ practice inside her studio within the prestigious Sarabande Foundation.

Deliverables:
  • Film various clips inside studio interviewing artist (1 hour maximum)
  • Provide your own high-quality film camera and tripod
  • Edit clips into an engaging 1-minute-30 draft video for social media with captioning for one review by artist
  • Make minor edits for final video following artist’s comments
  • The filming will take place on either Saturday 23rd May or Monday 25th May (Bank Holiday)
  • Delivery of video date will be confirmed, likely to be within 2 weeks of filming. Final video edits should be made within 3 days of review.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Some experience filming similar content
  • Some experience editing film content for social media (including captioning)
  • Ability to follow a brief and mood board
  • Ability to put artist at ease in front of camera
  • Ability to suggest artistic direction and ideas
