Our not just a shop open call is now open for submissions from all current UAL students, graduates and alumni! not just a shop sells a wide range of gifts, cards and wrapping paper, exclusively made by UAL students and graduates. Makers can apply through one of two routes for the opportunity to be stocked in our online and retail shops.

Videographer

Salary £150-£200 per day (depending on length of shoot)

Main Duties

We’re on the lookout for a videographer who can capture content both independently and under direction for our paid meta ads. You don’t need your own camera or kit, just knowledge and a bit of experience being behind the camera in a fast paced setting

  • Film content on shoots with crew, actors and cats.
  • Transfer footage from phone / camera to appropriate google drive, and label correctly for editor.
  • Follow instructions to carry out independent b-roll at cat owner’s houses.
  • Capture content at our partner cat cafe in White City or Marylebone.
  • Work under direction on set, but also come with ideas and autonomy to improve cinematography.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Basic knowledge of DSLR and smart phone filming, and ideally with some knowledge of setting up lapel mics and shot gun mics (though this is not essential).
  • Strong understanding of footage organisation, folder structures, and file naming conventions.
  • Extra skills that would be useful: ability to set up tripods, lighting, and teleprompter.
