Studio + Ecommerce Assistant

Salary £25,000 - £27,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Main Duties

This role reports into the Sales Manager

Must have previous middleweight industry experience or above in a similar role

Full time

Including but not limited to:

E-commerce Administration

  • Uploading and updating products within Shopify according to brand guidelines; this may include product exports/imports, pricing updates, image changes and full product collection uploads.
  • Fulfilling basic website tweaks and edits as required.
  • Picking and gift wrapping all website orders, ensuring high brand standards are followed and orders are dispatched in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and respond to customer queries in a professional and timely manner, adhering to brand guidelines and tone of voice, escalating to the Sales Manager where necessary.
  • Manage all courier-related admin for website orders, including creating shipping labels, and adhering to international customs and shipping requirements.
  • Closely monitor and follow-up any delivery delays.
  • Update the e-commerce customer database as required.
  • Regular stock checks for all necessary e-commerce supplies, working with the wider team to action re-orders.
  • Fulfilling returns, exchanges and discounts at the discretion of the Sales Manager.

Studio + Sample Organisation

  • Assisting with general studio tasks as needed.
  • Warmly welcoming visitors to the studio and providing refreshments as needed.
  • Ensuring office and studio supplies are kept well stocked and ordered in a timely manner, this includes consistent monitoring when supplies are low.
  • Ensuring all company supplies and packaging are stored in an efficient and tidymanner to avoid damage and waste.
  • Organisation of the stockroom and communal areas, ensuring all areas of the studio are kept exceptionally clean, tidy and organised. Provide feedback and suggestions on better ways to organise the space.
  • Inventory management of the external company storage unit, ensuring this is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Ensuring all stock is always kept in an organised and presentable way, working with Wholesale Co-ordinator to adhere to brand standards and guidelines.
  • Receive and process all studio deliveries – ensuring all new stock and supplies are properly put away and organised. Work alongside Wholesale Coordinator regarding any quality issues and final counts.
  • Managing the in-house samples – ensuring these are always organised, labelled and stored as needed, logging movement of samples for press/events and tracking/following up any delays.
  • Working with Marketing Manager to help prepare samples, stock and supplies for events, pop-ups, photoshoots etc.
  • Support where required with brand events, covering a broad range of hands-on tasks.
  • Working with Marketing Manager to support with press outreach opportunities and updating press files where required.
  • This role reports into the Sales Manager but will require internal support across the wider team at times.

Skills and Experience Required

Skills and Qualifications Required:

  • Must have middleweight industry experience using Shopify.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise in fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to assist with all aspects of a small, growing business, whether manual or administrational.
  • Adaptable and flexible to change.
  • Customer service experience.

Although these will be your main responsibilities, the nature of working in an exciting and growing brand means that you will be exposed to many other aspects of the business, with a willingness to pitch in required.
