Studio Assistant (Ceramics)

Main Duties

We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Studio Apprentice to join our growing ceramics studio.

This is a hands-on apprenticeship-style opportunity designed for a recent graduate or emerging ceramicist who wants to deepen their practical skills, gain insight into running a creative business, and be part of a small, ambitious studio from an early stage.

You’ll work closely with the founder and receive training in all areas of studio production and operations.

What You’ll Learn

• Kiln loading and firing processes
• Production pottery techniques
• Glazing methods and finishing standards
• Studio systems and workflow
• Order packing and fulfilment
• The realities of running a small creative business

Skills and Experience Required

• Has some ceramics experience – (please specify your experience in your application)
• Is reliable and physically capable of practical studio work
• Is proactive and eager to learn
• Is excited about growing with a small, ambitious brand
