Studio Assistant

Main Duties

Photographer Marius W Hansen is looking for a Studio & Production Assistant to join our team.

About the role

• 4 days a week
• Salary: London Living Wage
• Location: Kentish Town (on-site)

We’re looking for a diligent, organised assistant to support the day-to-day running of the studio and the production of still life shoots. You’ll help prep and set up equipment and materials, keep the studio clean and shoot-ready, and provide hands-on support throughout shoot days. You’ll also assist with production logistics – coordinating equipment moves, props deliveries/returns, catering, schedules and client arrangements – helping ensure shoots run smoothly from pre-production through wrap, reset and equipment care. This role suits someone detail-focused, proactive and calm under pressure in a fast-paced studio environment.

About us

Marius’ work focuses on still life photography and motion for high-end luxury clients including Dior, Tiffany, Burberry, Chanel, Calvin Klein, Costa Brazil, Donna Karan, Dunhill, Estée Lauder, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Swarovski and Versace.

Skills and Experience Required

Requirements:

• A strong interest in photography
• Ability to carry out a variety of DIY tasks and problem-solve.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Technical skills related to lighting and photography equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced studio environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle last-minute tasks.
