Student Videographer (Filming Only)

Salary £12-15 per hour depending on experience

Main Duties

  • Attend filming sessions (approx. 2–3 times per month, 4–6 hours each).
  • Set up and capture video footage using either your own phone/camera or equipment provided.
  • Film a mix of short-form social content (e.g. Instagram Reels, Q&A clips, behind-the-scenes, training content).
  • Follow basic direction on style/angles (no advanced knowledge needed).
  • Ensure content is steady, clear, and well-framed (good lighting, sound, etc.).
  • Hand over all raw footage at the end of each session (no editing required).
  • Be punctual, reliable, and professional at shoots.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Interest in filming, media, or digital marketing (studying a related subject is a bonus but not essential).
  • Confident using a smartphone or camera to capture clear, good-quality video.
  • Basic understanding of lighting, framing, and sound when filming.
  • Ability to follow direction on style and content.
  • Reliable, punctual, and organised.
  • Creative eye and willingness to contribute ideas on what looks engaging on camera.
  • Positive, professional attitude and comfortable working in a small team.

(Editing skills are not required, but any past filming or content creation experience is a plus.)
