Social Media Producer

Main Duties

Social Media Manager and Producer required with strong sense of mischief, to manage all social media platforms. Insta/ X / Tik Tok / FB/ Linked in / and longer form YouTube. Experience needed with total understanding of how social media works.

The role is to support a high profile, provocative artist’s work that is topical and current about celebrity and public figures responding to the news as it happens with an understanding of icons, current and historical in both political news, celebrity news and social news. Ability to respond/ react fast and quickly on content and posts  if necessary. Ability to work a long strategy also.

The candidate must have a strong sense of mischievousness, the provocative, ironic and wry, a have an understanding of the importance of imagery, manufactured imagery in relation to celebrity in today’s media world. The candidate needs to be aligned with the artist, the concept, the philosophy and the provocative, mischievous nature of the work.

Ability to strategise across key celebrity and political diary dates and events happening in the news –  Be Available to work with the artist in person to record behind the scenes of shoots and interview the artist frequently to create behind the scenes posts, or facilitate this. An ability to graphic design and ensure the look of the grid and posts.

Ability to engage with the existing followers aligned with the tone of the artist, develop the community and activate followers and engage further followers and for upcoming projects, such as, art gallery shows, events, TV show or theatre show.  Ideally ability to do photography, photoshop, video editing.

Skills : mischievous and provocative creative understanding – excellent knowledge of all social media platforms, graphic design, video editing, use of Ai when needed.
