Main Duties
ROLE OVERVIEW:
Production Sewers are responsible for cutting, stitching, assembling, and the finalising of garments. They play a key role in maintaining quality, consistency, and meeting production targets.
The work ranges from fulfilling individual direct-to-consumer (D2C) orders to producing larger business-to-business (B2B) orders, with the studio designing and manufacturing uniforms for clients across the UK and internationally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Operate various industrial sewing machines for garment assembly
– Carry out spreading and cutting of fabric
– Follow patterns and specifications with precision and care
– Perform finishing tasks such as pressing, trimming, folding, and packaging
– Inspect own work for quality and consistency
– Maintain sewing machines and perform basic troubleshooting
– Communicate production issues to supervisors
– Meet assigned daily or weekly output goals
– Follow safety and hygiene practices at all times
– Contribute to team tasks as needed in other production areas
