Main Duties
We’re looking for a friendly, responsible part-time Workshop Instructor/Studio Host to support our in-studio lampwork/glass art-making sessions. This is a customer-facing role where you’ll help guests enjoy the experience while ensuring safety rules are followed at all times.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome customers and guide them through the workshop flow
- Deliver safety briefing and supervise safety throughout the session
- Demonstrate simple techniques (full guidance and training provided)
- Assist customers 1-to-1 during making and provide hands-on support
- Pack finished artworks neatly and professionally (gift-ready packaging)
- Keep the studio clean, tidy, and organised during/after sessions
- Provide a warm, calm, and premium customer experience

Training & Trial
No lampwork experience required — we provide full training.
Training details
- Training usually takes 7–10 days
- Minimum 4 hours per day
- You will be guided step-by-step, including safety procedures, customer handling, and workshop delivery
A paid trial shift is required before confirmation.
You will have a chance to work with glass art making to see if you’re comfortable with the settings (we will guide you throughout).

Skills and Experience Required
Requirements
- Passionate about lampwork and hands-on crafting, with fast learning ability and a proactive attitude
- Fluent English communication (customer-facing role)
- Friendly, patient, calm under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable and punctual (very important for booked sessions)
- Comfortable working in a hot-flame environment (training provided)
Bonus (not required)
- Lampwork & Glassmaking background
- Teaching / tutoring / workshop experience
- Able to support basic photo/video content during workshops
