Main Duties

Hi!  We’re Pexa!

A UK toy startup aiming to make the first genuinely wooden connecting toy set with our patently system that’s fun for kids and excellent for the environment.  Think wooden-lego!  No plastics, forest sustainable wood, and we only feature endangered animals and donate some of our profit to conservation!  See the picture as an example 🙂

We’re setting up our mailing list and newsletter and would like someone with some CRM experience to help us.

The role involves:
– Signing up for and analysing the newsletters from similar competitors/players in the market (we will give you a list of names).  This will inform our strategy – how often to mail, what to say, etc.
– Deciding which CRM software to use (budget and function wise), whether it is mailchimp or not.
– Being the architecture of our newsletter – deciding what we say (categories of text), the text that goes on (the actual words we use), pictures.
– working with our designers to come up with draft newsletters featuring our products, conservation, endangered animals, etc.

Skills and Experience Required

We would love to hire someone:

  • with CRM experience (Mailchimp, etc)
  • creative, enthusiastic, accommodating – as a startup our pace is a bit roller-coasterish.  We do our best but some things aren’t within our control.
  • copywriting experience
  • great with design/aesthetics

And please note we’re a startup and have to be conservative/disciplined with our budget.  We treat all our freelancers very well and pay them living wage where they are situated, but think that some tasks (as this) could be made more efficient with suitable use of AI and we would be open to it.
