Paid Collaboration – Fashion/Tailoring Student for Custom Suit (NHL Draft Event)

Salary Project fee in the range of £200–£400 depending on experience and scope. Fabric and materials will be covered separately. Happy to discuss details with the selected collaborator.
Hours Flexible hours. This is a short-term project with time spent on design refinement, fittings in London, and garment construction. Schedule can be arranged collaboratively.

Main Duties

• Review and refine the initial suit concept and mock-up collaboratively
• Advise on fabric selection and tailoring details appropriate for the design
• Develop or adapt a pattern for the blazer and trousers
• Construct the custom suit garment
• Conduct fittings and make any necessary adjustments to achieve the final fit
• Collaborate on final finishing details to ensure a polished result for the event

Skills and Experience Required

• Experience or training in fashion design, tailoring, or garment construction
• Understanding of suit construction and structured garments (blazers, trousers)
• Ability to create or adapt patterns for custom garments
• Strong sewing and garment finishing skills
• Interest in modern tailoring and contemporary fashion aesthetics
• Good communication and willingness to collaborate throughout the design and fitting process
