Main Duties

We are seeking an enthusiastic and thoughtful person to join the team on a part-time basis. You will be working directly with Roshini, the founder, on all aspects of the business, so a willingness to take initiative and the ability to learn quickly are essential. You will play an important role in expediting eCommerce and wholesale orders using our online shipping carriers, quality checking all product shipments from our workshops, taking stock of products and packaging, file management of accounting and customer documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare all eCommerce orders for shipping, including polishing and sticking stones where appropriate. Package and ship using Royal Mail Click & Drop and DHL. Write supplier orders for made to order products and receive and organise incoming packages.
  • Collate all delivery notes from incoming packages and match these with supplier order invoices.
  • Write order confirmations, supplier orders, and invoices for wholesale customer orders.
  • Take regular stock of shipping and presentation packaging, semi-precious stones, and Codis Maya stock on location at our workshops.
  • Scan and file business receipts, invoices, and purchase orders on a monthly basis to our Drive, and upload these to Dropbox for our bookkeeper.

Skills and Experience Required

Required skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Drive.
  • Experience in an administrative role.
  • Organisation and an eye for detail.

Preferred skills:

  • Experience working with jewellery production and operations.
  • Familiarity with Shopify and shipping carrier software.
