Material Scientist Assistant

Main Duties

Assist with

    • Material testing and performance testing.
    • Optimizing current process
    • Collecting and analyzing findings
    • Preparing samples for testing

Job requirement 

  • Strong understanding of environmental impact, life cycle and sustainability considerations in material development.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong work ethic to collaborate with ORNA team.
  • An interest in emerging trends in materials science and technology.

Skills and Experience Required

Essential Requirements

  • Materials Science Knowledge: An understanding of environmental impact, life cycle, and sustainability considerations in material development.
  • Research & Analysis: Proven ability to collect, analyse, and interpret data from tests and experiments.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic for collaborative work.
  • Passion for Sustainability: A genuine interest in emerging trends in materials science and technology, and a desire to make a positive impact.

Desired Experience

  • Material Development: Entry-level experience in material or product development, including preparing samples for testing.
  • Project Work: Entry-level experience assisting with or managing a project, such as optimising a process or workflow.
  • Hands-on Skills: Experience with basic lab or workshop practices related to material processing and testing.
