Marketing & Communications Executive

Salary £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours 9am - 5pm, Monday-Friday

Main Duties

The role is expected to grow with the individual, with initial responsibilities to include:

  • Assist the Communications Manager with development of communications strategy and periodic planning of messaging.
  • Planning, driving and executing social media campaigns to help promote the brand and our strategic messaging.
  • Copy and design creation for internal communications including presentation design and intranet content.
  • Managing and creating engaging content for all digital channels, such as social media and email, as well as measuring and reporting on performance.
  • Design creative content following Simply brand guidelines to a high level for all digital and external communication.
  • Monitoring and updating the business website with content, latest news, including new starters and customer case studies.
  • Support with the launch and marketing of new business initiatives and associated communication campaigns.

Skills and Experience Required

The Candidate must have:

  • Ability to think creativity and bring new ideas to Simply’s Communications strategy.
  • Some entry-level work experience in industry
  • Skilled in design and creation of visual concepts.
  • Confident using image design software including Canva and the Adobe Creative suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent ability in storytelling and brand development.
  • Excellent attention to detail and desire to execute work to a high standard.
  • Experience in stakeholder management.
  • Willingness and desire to learn and develop.
  • Flexible approach to working.
  • The ability to roll up their sleeves and take initiative.
  • Ability to visit and work in the London office 3 days a week as a minimum.

A standout candidate will have:

  • Experience in a marketing and/or communications role.
  • Proven track record with a successful marketing or communication campaign.
