Lighting and Sound Designer

Main Duties

Hi! Our play ‘Drunk Girls Cry Here’ is running from 12th-16th May at The Hope Theatre, Islington. We are looking for a Lighting and Sound Designer to collaborate with on this. You will get the opportunity to design this show, collaborating with the writer and the director directly.

We will need you for the following:

• Conceptualization & Design Collaborating with creative directors, scenic designers, and production managers to define the lighting style, mood, and atmosphere.
• Technical Planning: Creating detailed lighting plots, sections, and schedules
• Lighting Cues & Programming: Defining and programming specific lighting states and cues

You will also be needed for the tech rehearsal, which is currently looking to be the 11/12th May.

Skills and Experience Required

Final year students and above!

We are particularly interested in hearing from final year students or recent graduates, as we want to create opportunities for those about to head into or are recently into the industry. We are a super lovely creative team, and we would love to hear from you!
