Junior CAD designer

Main Duties

The Role
As a Junior Textile CAD Designer, you will play an integral role in supporting the design team to bring our collections to life. You will assist in the creation and development of homewares, fabric, and wallpaper designs, ensuring that digital artwork is accurate, beautifully presented, and ready for production.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and edit CAD artwork for homewares, fabric and wallpaper designs using Adobe Creative Suite.
• Prepare technical files for print and production, ensuring colour accuracy and repeat integrity.
• Digitally colour and visualise designs for internal presentations and sales tools.
• Assist in maintaining and organising digital artwork libraries and design files.
• Support the senior designers in preparing design boards, mood boards, and concept presentations.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure artwork is production-ready.

Skills and Experience Required

About You

• A degree in Textile Design or a related design discipline.
• Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; knowledge of textile CAD software is advantageous.
• Excellent eye for colour, pattern, and layout, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Understanding of fabric construction and repeat pattern design.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced design studio.
• A genuine passion for textiles and interior design.
