Main Duties
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Shape and evolve our visual identity: Work alongside the Chief Creative Officer and Head of Experience Design to push and protect the Moth brand. Create high-quality visual systems and assets across digital, print and motion.
- Own production from concept to delivery: Take work from idea through to final output. Ensure assets are technically precise and optimised for their context, whether print-ready PDFs, web-ready SVGs or responsive layouts.
- Create culturally relevant content: Produce compelling visual work for social, campaigns and studio outputs. This ranges from refined static assets to short-form motion and experimental formats.
- Design decks that land: Craft intelligent, visually sharp pitch decks and product presentations that clearly communicate our technology and vision to investors, partners, clients, and the creative community.
- Work across formats fluidly: Move confidently between brand systems, digital interfaces, printed materials and motion graphics. The medium should never be the constraint.
Skills and Experience Required
- Ideally, you’ll have middleweight-level industry experience in graphic/visual design (in-house or agency), but we’re flexible for exceptional portfolios and high-potential designers.
- You are highly confident working across:
- Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere or After Effects
- Figma for collaborative digital design
- Affinity Suite (Designer, Photo, Publisher)
You know your tools well enough that they never get in the way of the idea.
- You are at ease moving between vector illustration, high-resolution print files, web-ready assets and motion. You understand how design translates across digital, physical and cloud-based environments.
- Typography, composition, layout and colour are not afterthoughts. They are deliberate decisions.
- Your portfolio should demonstrate:
- Distinct and well-resolved brand identity work
- Clear, thoughtful presentation design
- Digital and social content, including motion where relevant
We are looking for work that shows clarity of thinking, not just visual polish.
