GRAPHIC DESIGN FOR TEXTILES

Main Duties

• To help in the creation of an original silk scarf design
• Square format, with a strong central composition and decorative border
• Inspiration drawn from heritage, botanical, classic themes
• A detailed, illustrative approach with balanced symmetry and visual storytelling is required

Skills and Experience Required

• Student or recent graduate in Textile Design, Printed Textiles, or Graphic Design
• Portfolio demonstrating: intricate illustration and/or pattern design, strong use of colour and layout, attention to fine detail, Interest in luxury fashion, heritage design is desirable
