Main Duties

We’re looking for a skilled freelance video editor to create engaging short-form content for our social media channels. You’ll work with a variety of footage, including product and recipe videos, interviews, and lifestyle clips, to produce clean, well-paced edits that fit our brand aesthetic.

This is a remote freelance role with ongoing projects.

  • Create video content for the social media
  • Produce unique video ads based on provided briefs, typically between 15 and 60 seconds in length. The brief will involve looking through no more than 10 existing videos and pulling out relevant clips to edit into an ad. We will also ask you to overlay some copy and add stock music
  • Source stock footage and stock music that reflects the brand identity
  • Export video content for different channels in different formats, e.g. Facebook (i.e. portrait 4:5 ratio) and Youtube (i.e. horizontal 16:9 ratio), as well as export at professional HD quality (1920 x 1080px)
  • You may also need to apply voice overs to some videos. You will need to balance the voice over with stock music and edit the video so it flows nicely with the voice over
  • We will provide you with all brand assets you may need

Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong experience editing for social media (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
  • Excellent sense of style, rhythm, composition, and storytelling
  • Ability to adapt to brand tone and visual identity
