Main Duties
- hand sewing on bespoke and one-off garments within an established atelier process
- tailoring and finisher-level hand work
- fabric manipulation requiring trained, precise hand skills
- executing work according to studio-specific, tailor-based techniques
- coordinating closely with the designer at each stage of the work
- maintaining consistency, care, and finish quality across garments
Skills and Experience Required
- solid experience in hand sewing for tailoring or garment finishing
- confident handling and manipulation of fabric by hand
- trained, precise, and reliable hand skills developed through tailoring practice
- ability to apply existing craft skills within a studio-specific, tailor-based technique
- comfort working within a creative, evolving process led by the designer
- willingness to coordinate and check in at each stage of the work
- strong attention to detail and respect for atelier standards of finish and care
- clear communication and reliability in a studio environment
