Freelance Graphic Designer

Main Duties

Project overview

We are seeking an experienced freelance graphic designer to design and produce a company annual letter of approximately 150 pages. The document will be delivered as a high-quality PDF and must adhere closely to established brand and style guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, layout and production of a long-form annual letter using Adobe InDesign
• Apply existing corporate identity, brand guidelines and visual style
• Create consistent layouts, typographic hierarchy and page templates
• Design and style charts and tables based on data supplied in Excel
• Incorporate branded imagery, diagrams and simple illustrative elements throughout
• Prepare print- and screen-ready files as required
• Manage edits, client feedback and iterative revisions (up to 40 hours allocated)

Skills and Experience Required

• Advanced Adobe InDesign skills (essential)
• Proven experience designing long documents (reports, annual reports, publications, white papers)
• Strong understanding of brand-led design and layout systems
• Experience styling data visualisations and charts for reports
• High attention to detail and strong typography skills
• Ability to work to deadlines over a fixed project window
