Main Duties
- Translate creative direction and concepts into clean, high-quality digital designs across web, brand, and visual assets.
- Design and refine product-focused websites and landing pages, with strong attention to clarity, hierarchy, and conversion.
- Take concepts, wireframes, and mockups generated using Figma and AI-assisted design tools, and polish them into production-ready designs.
- Develop and maintain a coherent visual language across digital and physical touchpoints.
- Improve and adapt product imagery, renders, and visual assets for web, marketing, and social channels.
- Collaborate closely with a founder-led team to iterate quickly, refine details, and elevate overall quality.
- Support an ongoing design workflow at the intersection of physical product and digital experience.
- Contribute on a long-term freelance basis, with flexible involvement depending on project needs.
Skills and Experience Required
- Strong skills in digital design and visual communication, with a clear sense of hierarchy, layout, and typography.
- Proven ability to work in Figma for web design, layout systems, and design refinement.
- Experience taking rough concepts, wireframes, or AI-generated ideas and turning them into polished, production-ready designs.
- Good eye for branding, visual identity, and consistency across digital touchpoints.
- Ability to retouch, optimise, and improve product imagery and visual assets for web and marketing use.
- Understanding of conversion-focused design and user experience principles for product-led websites.
- Comfortable working independently, managing tasks, and iterating quickly based on feedback.
- Strong attention to detail, proportion, and finish.
- Interest in product-driven brands and physical products (e.g. watches, accessories, industrial or consumer goods) is a plus.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset when working with a small, founder-led team.
