We are currently establishing a new and strategic role based in London to support the creative expansion of our own-label capsule collections.

This is a rare opportunity to join a global luxury leader at the ground level of a new and exciting venture. For the right candidate, this role offers the chance to become a key part of shaping the employers future-facing design identity.

Position Summary
We are seeking a Mandarin-speaking fashion graduate with strong skills in pattern cutting, tailoring, textile innovation, and a deep understanding of emerging global fashion trends. This role will serve as a creative and communicative bridge between London and our Beijing-based design, buying, and merchandising teams.
The ideal candidate will be an independent, highly motivated graduate eager to contribute to the development of new owned fashion concepts while also facilitating cross-cultural creative dialogue.

Key Responsibilities
• Act as the employers design and development liaison in London.
• Collaborate closely with the Beijing creative, buying, and merchandising teams to interpret and develop capsule collection concepts.
• Translate design briefs into sketches and sample-ready patterns.
• Develop bespoke design samples and tailored pieces from scratch.
• Research and recommend innovative fabrics and sourcing opportunities from the UK and Europe.
• Provide insights into global and next-generation fashion trends and movements.
• Travel regularly to Beijing for in-person collaboration (visa and travel expenses covered).
• Manage communication effectively across time zones and work independently when required.

Skills and Experience Required

Candidate Profile

• Fluent in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
• Recent graduate from a European fashion college (e.g., Central Saint Martins, London College of Fashion, etc.).
• Strong pattern cutting and garment construction skills.
• Experience or strong interest in tailoring and bespoke techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to sketch and translate ideas visually.
• Deep interest in textile innovation and sustainability.
• Passion for exploring global fashion culture and new market appetites.
• Comfortable working independently and managing timelines.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly to China.
