Exhibition Designer / ArtworkProduction Coordinator

Main Duties

The candidate will work closely with the artist to design and coordinate the production of three upcoming international exhibitions. The job offers an immediate start with flexible hours until November 2025, with possibility of renewal. Spanish or French speaker is a huge plus.

The main duties will include:

– creating digital renders of gallery spaces and proposed works in either Auto Cad or Sketch up, or managing a freelance designer to do this if its not your skillset.
-Producing prototypes of sculptural artworks, or preparing pathways for machine made works, or managing a freelance designer to do this if its not your skillset.
– Coordinating outsourced production.
– Coordinating shipping, insurance, loan agreements, contracts.
– Making Scaled models and mock-ups of prototypes

Skills and Experience Required

Skills/ Experience:
– Proven middleweight industry experience related to the production of exhibitions. Please provide references.
-experience in conceptual thinking, presentations and communicating ideas
-ability to compile working drawings and specifications
-ability to develop concept design sketches in to 3D models and environments
-have a good sense of design visualisation and execution

Software

– proficient in AutoCAD or ArchiCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator
– 3D model in Rhinoceros or Autodesk 3ds max or SketchUp
– experience in V-Ray and/or other rendering software would be an advantage
