Main Duties

Design assets that sit across print, digital and presentation formats for campaigns and brand experiences at Disney.

MXW at DISNEY is a satellite studio that design compelling presentations and targeted materials servicing all Disney UK & EMEA lines of business, including Studios, Disney+, Parks & Resorts, and Disney Consumer Products. The team deliver best-in-class creative to engage both internal and external stakeholders ensuring a unified visual tone of voice.
The position forms part of this onsite team responsible for delivering high-quality, visually compelling design solutions across a diverse range of creative outputs, including:

  • Presentation Design: Craft visually compelling presentations (leveraging existing assets or developing a look & feel from scratch), including corporate decks, bespoke partner pitches, sales tools, brand templates, campaign summaries, and main-stage showcases.
  • Research & Inspiration: Source creative references, design trends, and cultural insights, translating them into thoughtful mood boards hat help shape concepts and visual direction in the early stages of a project.
  • Event Assets: Prepare accurate, large-format print and digital files following technical specifications as well as designing supporting digital collateral (invites, email graphics, venue branding) that align with the creative direction and deliver strong visual impact across multiple channels
  • Brand Experience: Produce mock-ups and visualisations that bring brands to life for live events, experiential activations, digital campaigns, PR moments.

What you’ll be doing

Design (90%)

  • Support the creation of high-quality design work across a range of projects, developing skills in typography, layout, colour, and core design software
  • Maintain strong attention to detail throughout the design process, from initial concept through to final delivery
  • Apply clear visual hierarchy and consistent brand standards to ensure work is engaging and easy to understand
  • Assist in enhancing presentations and materials through considered use of simple animation, transitions, and motion where appropriate
  • Help translate complex or data-heavy content into clear, visually accessible layouts that communicate key messages effectively
  • Respond positively to feedback, learning how to interpret and apply direction from multiple stakeholders and senior team members
  • Build a working knowledge of different formats and production requirements across print, presentations, and digital collateral
  • Stay attuned to industry best practice, keeping up to date with design trends, campaigns, and exhibitions, while actively sharing knowledge and learnings with the wider team

Creative Management (5%)

  • Serve as a brand guardian for Disney owned IPs, ensuring all design work aligns with established guidelines or, where style guides are absent, stays true to the brand’s DNA
  • Apply a discerning creative lens to all deliverables, ensuring consistent quality control and elevated visual output
  • Manage your own tasks and deadlines, developing strong organisational and time-management skills, communicating progress to the design and account lead
  • Engage in internal briefings/meetings to develop and articulate design rationale and creative thinking
  • Uphold a high standard of professionalism, maintaining a positive, solutions-focused approach to daily tasks and actively contributing to a motivating team environment

Company Responsibilities (5%)

  • Ensure all design work complies with MXW and TPG policies, including adherence to AI guidelines and using only approved, properly licensed fonts and stock imagery & footage
  • Support general studio operations, including file organisation on the server & Dropbox, asset management and project archiving
  • Actively contribute to sourcing and curating content for The Clip, website, credentials and company communications including award entries, seasonal cards, newsletters, and other external outreach
  • Any other duties which the Company shall reasonably require from time to time.

Essential
Applicants should be proficient in:

  • Keynote, Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides
  • Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

Desirable

  • Experience using After Effects is desirable
