Entry-Level Designer

Salary £30,000 per annum

Main Duties

Duties and responsibilities of a Designer:

  • Create stand-out graphic content for social media
  • Develop visual worlds guiding campaigns and brand content
  • Prepare drafts and moodboards
  • Create basic motion graphics assets
  • Confidently present ideas
  • Work within existing brand guidelines
  • Collaborate with the creative team in the visual execution of creative ideas
  • Proactively test graphics and designs across platforms to identify highest impact
  • Explore how AI can continue to enhance creativity in design
  • Study design briefs and determine requirements
  • Manage and schedule your time to answer briefs
  • Inspire the agency and clients with the latest design trends in online and offline culture

Skills and Experience Required

SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Naturally curious and open-minded approach to design.
  • Exceptional taste and awareness of technology, the arts and pop culture
  • Experience designing in at least one subculture (eg. community event flyers, content design for a meme channel, music videos, vis ID for student fashion show)
  • Highly conceptual thinker
  • Fluent in Ps, Ai, Id. Working knowledge of the entire Adobe Creative Suite
  • Deep knowledge of Google Slides
  • Experience in creating content on digital and social media platforms
  • Understanding of how social platforms operate (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter)
  • High attention to detail (regarding layout, typography and iconography)
  • Ability to listen well, process feedback, and explain the elements of the content you create
