Main Duties

  • Own our social presence, primarily on LinkedIn — developing strategy with our VP of Communications and General Partners and leading daily execution with autonomy.
  • Create and edit engaging content — from founder stories and event recaps to behind-the-scenes looks at how we build — tailored for founders, builders and B2B audiences.
  • Produce short-form video, photo and written content for LinkedIn and other emerging platforms. (Example: reels, carousels, short-form video content). Manage relevant vendors and suppliers (Example: for video content at events)
  • Collaborate on creative campaigns for launches, portfolio announcements and events (working closely to support our VP Comms & Head of Events).
  • Contribute to flagship projects such as the annual Visionaries Yearbook, Visionaries Unplugged, website content and slide decks.
  • Become our resident expert on content-related AI tools, experiment and proactively seek ways to implement new tools (ChatGPT, Jasper, ElevenLabs, Synthesia, Descript, etc.) to streamline workflows and boost creativity.
  • Help shape our visual language — from social graphics to event collateral and creative merch for our community of founders, operators and friends.
  • Track trends and cultural moments to spark fresh ideas and smart storytelling. Stay ahead of digital trends to keep Visionaries’ brand at the forefront of tech and venture.
  • Support portfolio founders with social strategy and best practices — running workshops, sharing playbooks and helping them to build their personal and company brands.
  • Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency in design, tone and content messaging.
  • Proactively support Visionaries marketing initiatives, including PR, events, and representing Visionaries online and offline.
  • Manage timelines and budgets, (feeding into the overall Comms & Marketing budget) prioritising resources effectively to deliver campaigns on time.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Ideally has entry-level to middleweight-level industry experience in content, social, design or communications (agency, startup or media background welcome). If you have less experience than this, we’d still love to hear from you as we can be flexible with the scope of this role.
  • A strong sense of what cuts through on social – you know how to make people care, with examples to prove it. And the skills to create and edit graphic image / video content such as video, reels, carousels etc.
  • Excellent writing and visual instincts – clarity, tone, and taste all matter to you and you have a fantastic attention to detail.
  • Curiosity about tech, startups and AI, with an ability to translate complex ideas and team opinions into engaging graphics and content.
  • Organised and proactive; you juggle multiple projects while keeping momentum.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented: you like bouncing ideas and building things together.
  • Deep working knowledge of LinkedIn, its features and emerging trends.
  • Familiarity with creative, AI and measurement tools (e.g. Canva, Nano Banana, Hootsuite, Jasper, ElevenLabs, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • (Nice to have) Experience producing long-form or YouTube content.
  • (Nice to have) Experience working with VCs and investors.
