Main Duties

The Content Lead will oversee CULTED’s editorial direction, content performance, and output across platforms. This role requires both creative excellence and operational insight, ensuring CULTED’s tone of voice, brand identity, and content quality remain consistent and best-in-class.

Core tasks and duties :

  • Serve as editorial leader for all content production on CULTEDs channels.
  • Lead content development with autonomy while remaining open to team collaboration and feedback.
  • Ensure consistency in conceptualization, tone of voice, brand expression and narrative approach across all platforms.
  • Ideate, produce, and publish content for social platforms (and potentially the website).
  • Liaise with the social media team to audit content performance, UX, and tone of voice.
  • Present recommendations for optimisation and identify missed opportunities.
  • Review the content calendar and suggest alternatives if content doesn’t resonate
  • Collaborate with leadership on tentpole moments and editorial responses
  • Ensure all CULTED content aligns with editorial direction and tone.
  • Manage the activities and processes of CULTED’s  digital ecosystem including websites, social media and marketing campaigns
  • Oversee syndication of TikTok content to Instagram Reels.
  • Ideate and propose short-form explainer concepts.
  • Work closely with internal teams to support content production and ensure streamlined output.

Performance Targets :

  • Grow our existing audience and establish our cultural presence (targets to be shared during onboarding)
  • Support follower growth on key platforms.
  • Achieve regular minimum target vanity matrixes per post, with ambitions to grow steadily during the year
  • Increase positive sentiment across social channels.
  • Cultivate stronger audience affinity and community response.
  • Establish and maintain content volume expectations across social and website platforms.
  • Identify and manage freelance writers when production capacity is reached.
  • Assess content effectiveness and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Continually optimise based on performance metrics and audience behaviour.

Skills and Experience Required

  • 5+ years’ proven experience in digital media, content creation, or a closely related field, with a strong track record of delivering high-impact creative work.
  • Deep knowledge of fashion and luxury lifestyle sectors, with the ability to anticipate cultural shifts, interpret emerging trends, and translate them into compelling creative direction.
  • Expert-level understanding of social platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging channels, with an informed perspective on Gen-Z behaviours and content formats.
  • A refined grasp of brand identity and tone, ensuring all content aligns with and enhances brand equity across touchpoints.
  • A polished, authoritative presence with strong presentation skills, able to represent the Company at events, shows and shoots, build senior stakeholder and client trust, and confidently communicate creative and strategic recommendations under pressure.
  • Experience mentoring junior creatives, guiding quality and elevating output without formal management duties.
  • Solid analytical capability, able to interpret performance data, pull out key insights, and use them to inform clear recommendations that guide creative and channel output.
