Main Duties
Haberdashery London is seeking a communications and social media manager to join its team in London.
Haberdashery London is an award winning design studio and lighting brand based in London, we are recruiting for a newly created position within our marketing department.
Overview
The primary function of this new role is to drive overall brand awareness within the high end interiors market, contributing to the commercial success of the business.
This role will work closely with the head of marketing executing communications strategies in line with commercial and marketing objectives
Key Accountabilities:
General
- Create & schedule social media posts, newsletters, and website updates, exhibiting engaging content to showcase the brand
- Analyse key marketing metrics and evaluate them to find new opportunities and improve effectiveness of existing channels.
- Contribute to the creation/preparation of marketing events, assets and content
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing platforms
- Build relationships with journalists, manage social media coverage and distribute press releases
- Update literature, website and other digital platforms ensuring they remain visually engaging, informative and aligned with the studio’s brand
Skills and Experience Required
Skills and attributes:
- copywriting, storytelling, and content creation abilities
- communication and relationship-building skills
- interest in interior design, product design and decorative lighting as well as the visual arts
- ability to plan & coordinate asset creation with external / internal creatives, including photographers, stylists and graphic designers
Qualifications and experience:
- five plus years’ experience in a branding, marketing, PR, or communications role, ideally within the creative industries
- familiarity with design-related media, press, and publications
- experience using content creation tools (Adobe Creative Suite) and CMS platforms (WordPress)
- Experience using analytics tools (Google Analytics) and creating associated reports
