Main Duties
We are a leading provider of bespoke scenic production for live events, exhibitions, and brand experiences. With over two decades of experience, we combine creative vision with technical expertise to deliver exceptional environments that captivate audiences and bring concepts to life.
From our 20,000 sq ft fully equipped workshop, our team of skilled craftspeople and designers produce high-quality scenic elements.
Working closely with our Head of Production, you’ll help keep the wheels of production turning smoothly. You’ll be a key link between the design office, the workshop, and the warehouse — making sure everyone has what they need, when they need it.
This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in fabrication with a passion for the design and creative industries who’s ready to move into a management-focused role.
- Assist the Head of Production in coordinating and disseminating jobs across the production team.
- Track production elements from design handover to workshop output, ensuring everything stays on schedule and to spec.
- Manage and organise the flow of production materials — from deliveries to internal handoffs — ensuring they get to the right person or department.
- Ensure all elements are clearly labelled, logged, and accounted for throughout the production process.
- Identify problems or bottlenecks early, and help develop practical solutions to keep production moving.
- Liaise with the warehouse team to ensure smooth logistics and efficient prep ahead of loading and onsite installations and load-out.
Skills and Experience Required
- Experience in fabrication (e.g. carpentry, scenic, set build, or similar).
- Understanding of materials commonly used in event/set production (timber, plastics, metal, fabric etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret technical/build drawings.
- Highly organised and able to multitask across several projects at once.
- Strong communication skills – Being able to work as part of a team and encourage a strong team work ethic that’s inclusive, productive and fun. To be comfortable coordinating between departments and working under pressure.
- Experience in a creative or production-based environment is a strong advantage.
