Main Duties
We are currently looking for an Assistant Manager to join a premium fashion retailer based at Westbourne Grove store, with an immediate start. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a retail environment, ideally as a Supervisor or Assistant Manager, with experience managing a fairly large team. The candidate must also be flexible to work across our three London stores and available to work over the Christmas period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive store performance by ensuring the sales team meets individual and collective sales targets
- Hire, train, and develop new Sales Assistants
- Assist in daily planning and strategy development to support the store’s growth
- Supervise and motivate the sales team to deliver outstanding customer service
- Manage in-store deliveries and ensure stock is handled efficiently
- Oversee customer interactions in-store, via email, and over the phone, ensuring all needs are met with professionalism
- Serve as a key liaison between Head Office and the store team
- Uphold and represent the brand ethos and set a positive example for the team

- Proven experience in retail management within a premium or luxury environment
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities
- Experience in recruiting and onboarding new staff
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive, customer-first attitude with a focus on quality service
