Artist in Residence

Main Duties

• 3 days a week either in Studio or holding workshops for service users
• Finished presentable pieces of Work
• Artist to document the process either with video diaries or sketchbook style

After the project is completed we would ask the artist to continue as our resident artist for the remaining 2 months creating a response to the project and also creating supporting Art work for JUST marketing materials and branding ie: Annual report covers, posters etc.

Skills and Experience Required

Our artist should be a people person first. Then comes their technical ability. The artist should be confident with sculpture and installations as well as leading a group and working with all types of people judgement free. We are tackling a sensitive topic and need our artist to have compassion and be willing to spend time with service users before the project.
