Art Technician and or Art Technician/Driver

Main Duties

Duties will include being part of a team collecting and delivering Fine Arts and Antiques throughout London and Home Counties and will involve but not be limited to:

• Safely handle, pack, transport, and install fine art, antiques, and valuable objects
• Carry out local and regional deliveries and collections using company vehicles
• Managing all required ‘digital paperwork’ for carriage activities, maintain condition documentation and perform basic condition checks and validating data for inbound/outbound warehouse delivery movements
• Support day-to-day activity in our warehouse facility (e.g., object movement, stock updates, photography)
• Ensure the safety, security, and cleanliness of vehicle and cargo at all times
• Work directly with clients, couriers, and galleries to ensure smooth service
• Follow all site-specific handling protocols and respect client confidentiality
• Participate in risk assessments and follow all health and safety guidelines

Skills and Experience Required

• Passion and experience in the arts essential
• Excellent attention to detail and care in handling fragile or high-value items
• Professional, calm, and courteous manner in client-facing settings
• Practical common-sense sort of person with a methodical approach
• Comfortable working in a physically active role, including lifting and manoeuvring objects
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Flexible and dependable team player with a hands-on attitude
• Prior experience in a similar environment (art logistics, gallery technician, removals, or museum handling) is a plus
• Experience of working with Google Microsoft Office tools and other software

Qualifications

• 5 Luton Van driving experience (Preferred)
• Forklift certificate (Preferred)
• Full clean UK driving licence
