Main Duties
The duties shall include the normal teaching duties for which the post is engaged and from time to time related to teaching and other activities including but not limited to marketing, administration of the art and design academy in China, etc. Posts are for candidates interested in working in Guangzhou, China which is just about 1 hour by train from Hong Kong.
Accommodation: furnished apartment will be provided to non-local applicant.
The foundation of International Creative Art & Design Academy (ICA) was established with the help from the University of the Arts London whereby a unit of Chamberlain Group is the recruitment of the University of the Arts London here in China Guangdong. The purpose of establishing International Creative Art & Design Academy was to help cultivate learning for students who would like to learn more about a western-style of creative thinking in art and design.
Skills and Experience Required
Art & Design Teacher (Full time) i. must have a BA degree (or above) from UK in art and design related subject. ii. have the ability to teach some of the art and design areas listed below at University or further education level, but not expected to be an expert in all areas. Drawing and color, graphic design (2D), interior design, fashion and textiles, three dimensional design (3D), cultural and historical studies.
A-Level Teacher
i. have prior experience in teaching A-Level in art and design.
ii. must have a BA degree (or above) from UK in art and design.
