AI-generated Video Producer

Salary Hourly rate, negotiable
Hours 5-10
Location Remote
Closing Date 02 May 2026
Position Type Freelance
Advert expires on 02 May 2026

Main Duties

1. Idea & Trend Hunting

You research what is currently viral on TikTok, Instagram, or X. You decide which trends fit the brand and plan out the videos or posts you want the AI to help create.

2. Writing AI Prompts

This is the “coding” of the creative world. You write the specific descriptions and instructions that tell the AI exactly what to build, from the visual style to the tone of the caption.

3. Creating the Assets

You run the tools to generate the raw content. This includes:

  • Images: Using generators for backgrounds or characters.
  • Video/Audio: Creating clips and custom music or voiceovers.

4. Polishing & Editing

AI usually needs a human touch. You take the raw files and use editing software to fix “glitches,” add text overlays, crop for vertical viewing, and sync the visuals to the beat of the music.

5. Posting & SEO

You package the content for the public. This involves writing the final captions, selecting the best hashtags, and scheduling the posts to go live when the audience is most active.

6. Checking the Stats

You look at the likes, shares, and views to see what worked. If a certain AI style did well, you do more of it; if it failed, you change your prompts for the next round.

Skills and Experience Required

Here are the essential skills mapped to those tasks:

  • Prompt Engineering: The ability to write precise, descriptive, and structured “instructions” to get the best output from LLMs (text) and Diffusion models (images/video).
  • Tool Literacy: Staying up-to-date with a fast-moving stack of tools (e.g., Gemini for strategy, Nano Banana for images, Veo for video, and Lyria for music).
  • AI Troubleshooting: Knowing how to “fix” an AI’s mistake by adjusting settings like seed numbers, aspect ratios, or negative prompts.
  • Visual Eye: You don’t need to be a painter, but you need to understand composition, lighting, and color theory to know when an AI image looks “good” vs. “cheap.”
  • Copywriting: The ability to take AI-generated text and inject human personality, humor, and a specific brand voice.
  • Scriptwriting: Crafting hooks and narratives that keep people watching past the first 3 seconds of a video.
  • Video/Photo Editing: Proficiency in tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or Photoshop. You need to be able to manually stitch AI clips together and add text/overlays.
  • Audio Engineering: Basic knowledge of syncing sound, cleaning up AI voiceovers, and choosing the right background tracks to set a mood.
  • Platform Literacy: Knowing the “unwritten rules” of each app (e.g., what works on TikTok usually fails on LinkedIn).
  • Data Analysis: Reading social media metrics (reach, watch time, shares) to understand why a piece of content performed well and how to replicate it.
  • SEO & Keywords: Understanding how to use keywords so the platform’s algorithm actually shows your AI content to the right people.
