As an intern at JAG Creative Studio, you will be involved across a broad range of tasks and responsibilities, giving you a comprehensive insight into how a full-service creative production company operates. Your duties will include:
On Shoot Days — assisting with all aspects of professional photo and video shoots, including equipment setup and breakdown, lighting adjustments, lens changes, and general on-set support to ensure the shoot runs smoothly and efficiently.
Pre-Production — supporting with shoot planning and logistics, mood board creation, scheduling, sourcing props, locations, and styling, as well as coordinating with clients, models, and other creative professionals ahead of the shoot.
Post-Production — assisting with the selection and editing of images, colour grading, retouching, and preparing final deliverables for clients. You will gain an understanding of industry-standard post-production workflows and software.
Graphic Design — contributing to the design of branded materials, including promotional assets, event collateral, and client-facing documents. This will involve working with brand guidelines and developing a strong eye for layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.
Social Media and Content Creation — helping to create and curate content for JAG Creative Studio’s Instagram and other social media channels. This includes capturing behind-the-scenes content on shoots, drafting captions, scheduling posts, and contributing to the overall social media strategy.
Event Production — supporting with the planning and execution of events, including premieres, exhibitions, and launches. This may involve coordinating logistics, liaising with venues, and assisting on the day to ensure everything runs seamlessly.
Exhibition and Display Production — assisting with the curation, design, and physical production of exhibition displays, including selecting and preparing work for display, coordinating print production, and contributing to the overall presentation and layout.
Catalogues, Decks, and Pitch Materials — helping to compile and design professional portfolios, client pitch decks, and catalogues that showcase JAG Creative Studio’s work. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn how creative work is presented and sold at an industry level.
