Fashion Trend Research Intern

Main Duties

What You’ll Do

• Review and evaluate AI-generated fashion trend outputs across categories and markets
• Assess accuracy, relevance, and alignment with current fashion trends and seasonal movements
• Identify inconsistencies in product categorisation, trend signals, and analysis
• Conduct independent research on fashion trends, categories, and consumer preferences
• Translate observations into structured, actionable feedback for the product and engineering teams
• Contribute to improving how AI interprets fashion data from runway, social media, and e-commerce

About the Role

We are hiring Fashion Trend Research Intern for a paid summer internship programme, designed for current fashion & textile students in UK who are looking to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of fashion and artificial intelligence.

In this role, you will work closely with our product and research teams to evaluate and improve AI-generated fashion insights. Your work will directly contribute to shaping next-generation fashion intelligence tools used by brands and industry professionals.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for curious, detail-oriented fashion & textile students who understand fashion beyond the surface level and are excited about its intersection with technology.

You should be:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at a UK university or college in Fashion & Textiles (e.g., Fashion Design, Fashion Marketing, Buying & Merchandising, Fashion Management, Textile Design)

You should have:

• Strong understanding of fashion trends, product categories, and seasonal cycles
• High attention to detail with an analytical mindset
• Ability to critically evaluate fashion content, data, and trend signals
• Clear and structured written communication skills
• Genuine interest in AI and its applications within the fashion industry
