Fashion Design Intern

Main Duties

• Design research and visual mood boarding
• Creating beautiful croquis / fashion sketches to communicate design ideas and silhouettes
• Supporting product development (colors, trims, fabrics, silhouettes)
• Assisting with tech packs and providing sample feedback
• Organizing design files and development materials
• Supporting the founder with day-to-day creative tasks
• Optional involvement in content creation and photoshoot preparation (depending on interest)

This internship offers hands-on experience in building a contemporary fashion/lifestyle product brand from concept to execution. The intern will work closely with the founder on a growing rainwear project, gaining real-world exposure to product development, design research, branding, and creative direction.

Students will develop practical skills across design support, visual research, product storytelling, and sampling coordination, while learning how an independent brand is built from the ground up. This is a collaborative, mentorship-led role where interns are encouraged to contribute ideas, build confidence, and gain insight into both creative and commercial decision-making within a small, agile startup environment
