Design Internship – Digital Content Creator (photography and video) – Based in Taiwan

Salary $28,590 NTD per month

Main Duties

This role will play an integral part within social media channels and web design to bring our brand to life. We are looking for someone with a passion for branding and a knack for storytelling. The content creator should be agile, able to weave narratives with minimal equipment relying on a strong creative voice which represents existing brand aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Passionate about products, lifestyle, content creation and design
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to the changing needs of the team
  • Produce videography and photography for advertising, social media, advertising, and product campaign
  • Updating content for company websites, blogs, marketing materials, and similar platforms. (Able to handle copywriting English/Japanese is a plus)
  • Collaborate with the team for ideas and present concepts to senior leadership
  • Execute projects within program timelines from concept through production.  Able to create a varied library of quick short mobile videos as well as polished higher production value videos
  • Supporting research into design trends to inspire and guide your design directions
  • Take on special tasks to support multiple projects and use feedback to improve work
  • Excellent craft & storyboarding
  • Take on additional design projects as needed, including but not limited to: video editing, mobile video editing, photo-retouching, and so on

Qualifications:

  • Graphic Design or Communications or relevant portfolio
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, and mobile editing APPs: Inshot, VSCO
  • Product photography experience, social media mobile phone photography familiarity a plus
  • Must be a self-starter who demonstrates strong initiative
  • Outstanding communication skills: both written and verbal
  • Creative, collaborative, and able to contribute ideas in group settings
  • Exemplary organizational skills, with high attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle projects and prioritize independently
  • Social media addict

SIM Design is looking for a full-time intern for our Red Dot winning Japan based toddler brand meroware (lovemero.jp). We require someone with a passion for branding, storytelling and the ability to understand the needs of our global target audience as we share meroware with the rest of the world.

You bring a fresh perspective to every project and have the storytelling skills that are truly memorable. You are organized, motivated, and enjoy working with other designers and engineers to create beautiful products.
