Design Internship

Main Duties

What you will do:

• Research thoroughly for trends, details and suggest new ideas suitable for our company brands aesthetics.
• Produce clear and detailed technical sketches using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop.
• Assist in sourcing and development of materials and trimmings.
• Collectively with the team, identify new selling opportunities by monitoring sale trends.
• Support in organising fabrics and keeping selection up to date.
• Support in creating design boards that show the designers direction and vision.

What will the internship offer the student and what will they learn while they are with you? E.g. skills they could learn/develop and experience they could gain.

Your learning outcomes:

• Gain an understanding of the design and product development process from concept to final production.
• Develop technical knowledge across multiple product categories – Woven, Knitwear, Jersey.
• Experience how to collaborate with Buying and Pattern teams.
• Participate in fitting sessions.
